Mission

The concept for this thrift shop initiative was born during a community fund raiser, where a growing concern was raised.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to rely on traditional $20 donations, while the need to support community members continues to grow.

To address this challenge, the idea of operating a community based, non-profit thrift shop emerged as a sustainable solution.

Raising funds through the sale of merchandise generously donated by the community itself.

The model is simple and powerful. The community gives to us, and we give back to the community.

This is how the Steveston Thrift Shop Society was created, by like-minded community leaders, advocates, and people who genuinely care about what happens in their own backyards.

When you support the Steveston Thrift Shop Society, you are helping support hundreds of thousands of Steveston-Richmond residents.
